The pleasures of cross-country skiing

The cross-country skiing slope called “Sonnenloipe”, located in the Antholzertal valley, is the perfect trail for all ages! This easy and plain valley trail stretches over 5.5 km across the romantic vale and leads you from the locality called Oberrasen/Rasun di Sopra past the Antholzer Bach stream and the Rasner Möser biotope all the way to the fish pond in Antholz Niedertal/Anterselva di Sotto. Prepare yourself to be amazed by the beautiful landscape, as you are constantly treated to breathtaking views of the glacier-rich Rieserferner mountain range, the Kronplatz and the Dolomites of Olang/Valdaora. If you like, you can also join your leisurely excursion with a delightful detour: The sun-drenched trail also leads you past many refreshment stops where you can stop for a break and savour some of the delicious specialities of the local cuisine. The Sonnenloipe slope is one of the artificial snow trails in the Kronplatz region and offers snow-sure fun throughout the winter.
