Your cross-country skiing adventure

If you are looking for the perfect activity for the cold winter, cross-country skiing is one of the most popular winter activities you can enjoy in South Tyrol. Amidst snowy and picturesque winter forests and the breathtaking views of the Dolomites, cross-country skiing is a great way to experience the winter landscape of the Dolomites Region Kronplatz with its impressive ice-covered mountain peaks and frozen lakes in utter seclusion and tranquillity. Whether you feel like exercising your entire body or going on a leisurely tour with your friends and family: You'll find countless perfectly groomed and snow-reliable cross-country tracks of varying difficulty levels all around our well-known No. 1 ski mountain. All along the trails you will also discover numerous rest points in which you can take a warming break and enjoy a hot chocolate or one of the tasty specialities of the South Tyrolean alpine cuisine.

Experience the Kronplatz cross-country skiing spots

The snow-covered summits and valleys around Kronplatz offer a unique winter paradise for keen cross-country enthusiasts and all those who seek their first experience on the cross-country skis. 162 kilometres of trails for all tastes are waiting for you amidst the unspoilt winter world of the Dolomites, which you can enjoy in both classic and freestyle. Did you know that the Dolomites Region Kronplatz is also located in the heart of the most extensive cross-country skiing carousel in Europe, the Dolomiti NordicSki area? In very close proximity to the Kronplatz, you will find two cross-country skiing regions, the Antholzertal valley and the Gsieser Tal valley, which offer a total of 102 kilometres of slopes for fascinating cross-country adventures. There is yet another highlight to be found in the valley called Antholzertal: In the worldwide renowned cross-country skiing and biathlon centre, the Südtirol Arena Alto Adige, you can follow in the footsteps of international cross-country athletes.
