The Kronplatz region is located at the eastern part of South Tyrol-Südtirol and consists of the lower and central Val Pusteria-Pustertal valley, with its villages Kiens-Chienes, San Vigilio and San Martin, Bruneck-Brunico, Olang-Valdaora and the Valle Anterselva-Antholzertal. The city of Brunico-Bruneck forms the geographical centerpiece of the region.
