Enjoy the highlights of the Dolomites in an eco-friendly way 

How to reach Pragser Wildsee lake, Plätzwiese high plateau, the Drei Zinnen mountains, the Würzjoch/Passo delle Erbe and other Dolomite passes in an eco-friendly way

The Braies Valley is accessible from 10/07 to 10/09/2024 from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. only by public transport, on foot, by bicycle or upon presentation of an online-reservation or a valid transit permit.

 

  • To the Pragser Wildsee lake:

- By bus: From 10.07. to 10.09.2024, the shuttle service to Pragser Wildsee lake (routes 439 and 442) requires advance online booking and prepayment. Once
the shuttle is fully booked, you can no longer access the lake by shuttle.
- By car: more detailed information on how to get there with your own car can be found here
- On foot or by bike: at any time and without restriction. Tours on www.outdooractive.com

 

Exceptions:

  • Transit permits for customers of restaurants, shops and other service providers in the Pragser Tal valley are issued. In this case, the customers pay a deposit of 20 €, which will be credited against consumption.
  • Holidaymakers visiting the Pragser Tal valley receive a travel permit for the entire duration of their stay.

 

 

  • To the Plätzwiese high plateau:

- By bus: The public line 443 takes visitors from Welsberg and Toblach (Dobbiaco)/Niederdorf (Villabassa) directly to Prato Piazza. No reservation required (timetables: www.suedtirolmobil.info)
- By car: With your own car you can reach Prato Piazza before 09:30 and after 16:00 with a fee. From 09.30 to 16.00 an online reservation is required. The parking lot in Brückele can be reserved online. Further information can be found here

  • To the Three Peaks & Auronzohütte hut:

From 01/06 to 13/10/2024 there is a shuttle bus from Toblach/Dobbiaco to the Auronzo Hut, in alternative to the toll road with costs.

Note: During the whole period the shuttle bus must be booked and paid online in advance. Unsold tickets can be purchased at the Toblach/Dobbiaco bus and train station.

  • How to get to the Fischleintal Valley

From 09/06 to 13/10/2024 the Fischleintal Valley can only be reached by the 440 Fischleintal Shuttle Val Fiscalina (from Sexten/Sesto), on foot, by bicycle or - with the exception of temporary closures (from 9.00 to 16.00) - by car. No reservation is required for the shuttle bus.

For visitors outside Sexten/Sesto it is recommended to take the public line 446 from Toblach/Dobbiaco - Innichen/San Candido. You can change to the shuttle bus to the Fischleintal Valley at the valley station of the Helm cable car in Sexten/Sesto.

 

 

  • To the Würzjoch/Passo delle Erbe

The Würzjoch/Passo delle Erbe can be reached by bus line no. 464 (Untermoj/Antermoia / Gadertal/Val Badia - Würzjoch/Passo delle Erbe) every hour from mid-June to the beginning of October. The bus line nr. 464 starts from the cable car Pikolein (as connection to the bus line nr. 460 from Bruneck/Brunico - Corvara) to the Würzjoch/Passo delle Erbe.
From the beginning of September it is necessary to change to bus line no. 339 (coming from St. Peter/San Pietro /Villnöss/Val di Funes) in Untermoj/Antermoia.

NEW summer 2024: from mid-May to mid-October, line 323 Palmschoss-Würzjoch will run every hour.
