From the paid parking lot above at the Mudler mountain restaurant (1622 m, refreshment possibilities) in Tesido, continue on foot taking path No. 31 to the left. After the first bend, turn left onto a steep path that leads directly to a forest road. You cross and climb quietly, following the white and red trail marker No. 31. After some distance you will already see the cross at the summit of Mount Luta (2145 m, Lutterkopf). The hike continues over an alpine area. Continuing the hike one passes through pastures to reach the Taistner Alm (2012 m, possibility of refreshment) You can also proceed to pass the last ascent to Mount Solomon (2275m, Durakopf). From the summit you descend to Klenkboden (2186 m). Continue on to reach the Taistner Alm (2012 m, possibility of refreshments). Follow the forest road back to the starting point.

Coming from Innsbruck/Brennero (A): Drive on the Highway of Brennero (A22) until the exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria, then go on along the SS49-E66 for about 58kms until you arrive in Monguelfo. To get to Tesido, we recommend to take the exit West in Monguelfo.
Coming from Lienz (A): You can reach us also padding by Lienz in Westtyrol (A). You have to cross the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and drive on the SS46-E66 until Monguelfo. To get to Tesido, we recommend to take the exit West in Monguelfo.
